Top Most Repeated HR Interview Question of the Day - How long would you expect to work for us if hired?

Whether your interviewer asks you this question explicitly or not, this is the most important question of your interview because he must answer this question favorably in is own mind before you will be hired.

The interviewer wants to know whether you are looking for a career rather than just a job. Do your goals align with the organization's goals, whether you have made any realistic plan for your future?

They are trying to encounter your career goals as well as how the job works with your overall plan. Ensure them that you are a good performer and can give your best performance for the betterment of the company and your professional growth. Use diplomatic answer that will impress your interviewer. Alternatively, jobs deal with long-term projects that rely on a dependable longstanding team. Remember to be truthful about your current timeline.

Note - General Tips:

 - Assure them that you are looking for a permanent type of the job.

 - Talk about how your past work experiences have prepared you for a long-term position.

 - Tell them you want to learn more, to help the company move up. You can even talk about how you look forward to greater responsibility as you learn more about the company, or that you hope to be ready to do more things.

 - Emphasize any skills that will help you be effective during your time with the company.

 - Show that you are ambitious and want to grow and move up along with the company.

 - Remember that your future goals should not be different from your current roles. (like if you're applying to be a Software developer but you want to be in Web development).

 - Try not to mention things like salary, retirement, vacation etc. It gives a bad impression to your interviewer.

 - Do not imply that your continued work with the company is dependent on money or the existence of better offers. Do not forget to relate your work to future benefits for the enterprise.

Answer:  Working in a company for a long time depends upon the environment of the company. I’m confident that this company can offer me a fulfilling and exciting career. If the company is satisfied and there is no bond and everything seems comfortable to me. I will work as long as my service needed by the company.
