ABOUT THE ICT COMMISSION LOGO COMPETITION, MAY 2019

1. Introduction: The Information and Communication Technology Commission (ICTC), pastoral institution mandated to promote ICT in areas of profession development, fostering investment in ICT, infrastructure development and collaboration in research undertaking, is developing its “logo”.

The Commission hereby invites interested individuals/ start-ups to design and propose a logo to be used as the ICT Commission identity. 

2. Objective
The objective is to develop the ICT Commission’s logo.

3. Scope

The task covers review and understand the ICT Commissions mandate, vision, mission and

strategic objectives, and finally provide a graphic design of its logo and suggest corporate colors.

4. Approach

Logo designers shall submit their works through email info@ictc.go.tz. There shall be organized

an event at the ICT Commission Softcenter, Dar es Salaam where shortlisted applicants shall

present their works to a panel of judges. It is acceptable to work in groups (teams) or

individuals. At most top ten candidates shall be contacted to present to a panel of judges.

 

5. Prize
The winner shall receive TZS 500,000.

6. Logo preference
The logo shall represent identity of our nation and the ICT sector.

7. About ICTC
Functions
- Build capacity, register, regulate and promote ICT profession and standards;
- Foster investment in ICT;
- Research, setting standards and foresight in ICT;
- Host and sustain national ICT infrastructure.

8. Deadline
The proposed design should be submitted in both PDF and PNG formats before Friday 17th
May 2019 1600hrs through our email addressinfo@ictc.go.tz You submission should be
